Talkabout Boom!

2022 has started with the greatest number of students ever being supported in the Talkabout program. This year we have almost 285 students attending either our T2 (2-year-old playgroup), T3 (3-year-old playgroup), T4 (Kindy), T5 (Pre-Primary) or Language Support group (students in Years 1-3).

Each year we have needed to add an extra class, but this year, we have added an additional T2, T4, T5 and three additional Language Support Groups. Along with the additional students, we have added additional staff of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Teachers, and Education Assistants to our already amazing team.

As you can imagine, we are busting out of our seams! Therefore, our Talkabout 3 groups have moved to the Crommelin Building with a brand-new classroom specifically built for them. The organisation and management of the build was expertly managed by our Head of Marketing & External Relations, Belinda Leksas. Thank you, Belinda!

The move of T3 groups allowed us the ability to have an extra classroom to support an additional Talkabout 5 class. The extra classrooms have kept our handyman, Carlo Picotti, very busy putting together all the new furniture. Thank you Carlo!
