Mainstream Teacher Networking

Welcoming mainstream school teachers into our school for an informative afternoon tea and tour of Talkabout

On June 1, Talkabout 4 and 5 teams hosted a wonderful networking afternoon tea for the mainstream teachers of our Talkabout students.

Thirty-five teachers attended and were treated to an array of yummy sandwiches and cakes. This gave them the opportunity to meet and discuss their student’s individual needs with our team of teachers, speech pathologists and occupational therapists. In addition, they had a tour of the gym and time in the classrooms where we showcased our resources and highlighted the specialised Talkabout program that we deliver.

This opportunity allowed us to form greater connections with the mainstream schools to best support the students in our program.
